Services signup will redirect you to a github.com login page.
- The first screen is on an auth0.com website with "Welcome ... Log in to dev-6mm9hen9" at the top.
- On that screen, you must directly proceed to Continue with GitHub at the bottom.
- Do not fill in the Email address and Password fields until you reach a github.com page.
- Do not click on Forgot password?
- Do not click on Continue.
- Do not click on Sign up.
- On the first github.com page, provide your required GitHub credentials, and then choose Sign in.
- On the second github.com page, you will need to authorize our services-signup app to retrieve your GitHub username.
- Your services credentials should then be created immediately.
You can begin now.
During or after signup, you may received automated email from GitHub stating:
A third-party OAuth application (services-signup) with access to public information was recently authorized to access your account.
This is normal. Our application only has access to information that is already public on GitHub.
It only looks at your GitHub username. It does not make any other attempt to access your GitHub account.
If you choose to revoke access to this GitHub integration, you will still be able to use the services.
